Soluciones Viales SA uses equipment with a maintenance technical preventive and corrective, that consists of a mixture of closed-grained aggregates, asphalt emulsion of controlled breaking, fillers, additives and water, where the thickness varies from 3 to 20 mm maximum, which are achieved by machines designed for this work.
The whole process is designed in the laboratory, previously and specific to each job and then is tested after the execution of the work to maintain a strict quality control.
The recovery of damaged pavements by micro surfacing technique is characterized by the following advantages:

»The durability of the repair work are designed at the laboratory, where the asphalt mix and emulsions are created, with the accuracy in the formation of the mixtures made by the applicator machines, make that the micro pavements have a great power of sealing, adhesion and mechanical strength.
»The speed of application, the applicator machines are equipped to perform the work with extraordinary rapidity. To get an idea of their performance, in linear and continuos applications (for example, one road), the machines may cover more than 25,000 m2 per day. For urban streets, the performance can be up to 6 blocks per day.
»The speed of the transit enabling, only few hours are enough (2 or 3 in summer and around 10 in winter) to liberate the people of the hardships of the work, or avoiding the dangerous night cut on the road.
